Khmer Style Cambodian seated Buddha is a representation of the Buddha in the Khmer art and culture which flourished in the region of present-day Cambodia. These Buddhas often feature distinctive characteristics, such as elongated earlobes and a serene expression. This Buddha is showcasing red gemstones and other embellishments, adding a touch of color and symbolism. This Buddha was purchased from the Reginald Campbell Private Collection 1920.

Tang Style Bronze Antique Carved Jar with Arched Dragonhead lid. A very intricately carved bronze wine vessel which has a long history dating back to ancient times. They were used not only for practical purposes but also in religious and ceremonial contexts. The intricate carvings on these vessels held symbolic meanings and were believed to bring good fortune or ward off evil spirits. Artisans would first design the intricate patterns, which were then carved into molds. Molten bronze was poured into these molds and once cooled, the vessel would be polished and further detailed.

Seated White Alabaster Cambodian Buddha is a revered artistic representation of the Buddha in Cambodian culture. The statues are typically carved from white alabaster, a translucent and smooth stone. The Buddha is depicted in a meditative posture, often with hands in the meditation gesture. This symbolizes inner peace and enlightenment. The alabaster's white color convey's purity and spiritual clarity.

A rare Southeast Asian rain drum (aka drink or side table) is known as "gendang hujan" or kentogan". It exhiibits intricate designs and is crafted with care. These Southeast Asian rain drums often feature patterns inspired by the natural world, reflecting the rich biodiversity of the region. The history of rain drums weaves together the spiritual, artistic, and communal aspect of Southeast Asian cultures.

RARE
Chinese Reverse Painted Glass Globes are exquisite art pieces where the painting is applied to the inside surface of the globe creating beautiful and intricate designs featuring traditional Chinese scenes and landscapes. This VERY LARGE reverse painted glass globe is VERY RARE as it depicts a period in China 210 B.C. called Don Han which is significant as it marks the end of the Qin Dynasty and the beginning of the Han Dynasty, which led to a golden age of culture and expansion.
This large RARE globe is a valuable collector’s item.
